Buying Direct From a Supplier

When you contact a supplier directly through Machine Matcher, we make the introduction — but the transaction is between you and the supplier.

It’s your responsibility to:

• Verify the manufacturer and carry out your own due diligence
• Agree your own terms, pricing, and payment structure
• Arrange your own inspection, shipping, and delivery

Machine Matcher is not party to direct transactions and is not liable for any dispute, loss, or issue arising from a purchase made directly with a supplier. If you’d prefer a fully managed, lower-risk process instead, our sourcing and buying support service is available — see below.

Full Sourcing & Buying Support — How It Works

Step 1: Initial Inquiry

Start by completing our contact form, or reach out via email, phone, or WhatsApp.

To prepare an accurate quotation, we’ll ask for:

• Machine type and required profiles
• Material type, thickness, and dimensions
• Power supply details (voltage, frequency, phase)
• Profile drawings or sketches (if available)
• Delivery location and required timeline

The more detail you provide, the more accurate and efficient the process becomes.

Step 2: Quote & Machine Selection

We’ll issue a custom quotation outlining machine specification, manufacturer price, estimated lead time, shipping options, and our coordination fee — and recommend the most suitable machine for your application, guiding you through any modifications or upgrades.

Step 3: Order Confirmation & Secure Payments

Once specifications and pricing are finalised, we issue a purchase agreement outlining machine scope, payment structure, manufacturing lead time, inspection process, and roles and responsibilities. A detailed profile drawing is provided for your approval before production begins.

Secure, Milestone-Based Payments

A deposit secures your order and starts production. The remaining balance is only due once your machine has been built, inspected, and is ready to ship — so you’re never paying in full before you know exactly what you’re getting.

All payments are invoiced and settled in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise agreed. You remain the Importer of Record, customs documentation reflects machine value only, and our coordination fee is invoiced separately to keep imports compliant and transparent.

Step 4: Manufacturing

Manufacturing begins once the deposit is received and drawings are approved. Typical lead times are 8–24 weeks depending on machine complexity and production schedule. You’ll receive regular updates during manufacturing, including photos, videos, and progress reports.

Step 5: Quality Checks & Testing

Before shipment, each machine undergoes comprehensive inspection and testing, including:

• Mechanical checks — roller alignment, gearbox, structural integrity, bearing condition
• Electrical & control system checks — PLC/HMI testing, motor performance, safety systems
• Cutting & punching system tests — hydraulic accuracy, blade condition, precision
• Dimensional accuracy — profile width, height, angle, and length tolerance testing
• Operational testing — dry run, trial run with coil, rated speed testing
• Safety verification — guarding, interlocks, overload protection, alarms

You’re welcome to attend in person or join via live video inspection prior to shipment.

Step 6: Final Payment & Shipping

Once inspection is approved, the remaining balance is settled prior to dispatch. The manufacturer issues the commercial invoice directly to you showing machine value only — you remain the Importer of Record, ensuring correct customs declaration.

Shipping options: by sea (approx. 4–8 weeks) or by air (approx. 1–2 weeks for smaller machines). All shipping documentation and tracking is coordinated by Machine Matcher.

Step 7: Delivery & Installation

Inspect the machine for any transit damage upon arrival. We provide remote installation guidance or on-site technician support if required, including setup, alignment, calibration, trial runs, and operator training.

Step 8: After-Sales Support

Ongoing assistance for troubleshooting, optimisation, and technical questions, plus spare parts on request and preventive maintenance recommendations.
