- Change hydraulic oil every 3–6 months
- Inspect cylinders, hoses, and seals
Cleaning:
- Clean the entire line at the end of each workday
- Remove metal chips and debris

Setup and Operation of Roll Forming Machines

Setup Process:

Position and level the machine line on the factory floor
Connect to power supply (380V, 3-phase standard in Morocco)
Install uncoiler and feed coil through rollers
Calibrate PLC settings based on profile length and batch size
Conduct test run and adjust roller pressure and cut lengths

Operating Steps:

Load the coil
Set profile specs via PLC
Start the line and monitor cutting and profile accuracy
Regularly check for alignment, feeding consistency, and wear

OEM Partners: Morocco often imports from manufacturers in Turkey, China, and Italy.
Fabrication Workshops: Some machine service centers offer used machine retrofitting and refurbishing.

Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)

Q: Can I use Moroccan power supply standards with imported machines?
A: Yes, but confirm voltage (380V, 50Hz) compatibility or request step-up/step-down transformers.

Q: Are used roll forming machines a good investment in Morocco?
A: Yes, for small- to mid-scale operations. Ensure the rollers and PLC are still in good working condition.

Q: How long does installation take?
A: A full roll forming line usually takes 2–5 days to install and test.

Q: Can I change the profile shape on one machine?
A: Some machines allow for interchangeable cassettes (especially C/Z purlin lines), but others are fixed-profile.

Q: What is the lifespan of a roll forming machine?
A: With proper maintenance, machines can operate for 10–20 years.
