Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roll Form Operator to join our manufacturing team, specializing in the production of sheet metal components for the building and construction industry. In this role, you will be responsible for operating roll forming equipment and assembling materials according to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality outputs while maintaining a strong focus on safety and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing & Assembling:
  • Operate roll forming machinery to produce sheet metal products, meeting customers’ specific requirements and quality standards.
  • Assemble building materials to precise specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design.
• Operation of Fixed Plant Machinery:
  • Operate a variety of fixed plant machinery, including overhead cranes, to assist in the manufacturing and handling processes.
• Technical Interpretation:
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and product specifications to ensure proper product assembly and production accuracy.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with team members, cross-functional departments, and various projects to ensure smooth operations and efficient project execution.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and project updates to drive continuous improvement.
• Training & Development:
  • Engage in ongoing training related to the safe operation of specific machinery, plant, and equipment to improve technical skills and job performance.
• Safety & Housekeeping:
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area at all times.
  • Follow all safety protocols and strictly adhere to the company's critical safety rules to contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.

Qualifications:

• Experience in operating roll forming machines or similar equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with operating overhead cranes and other manufacturing equipment is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
• A strong focus on safety and the ability to follow safety protocols rigorously.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, and operate machinery for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting materials and products as needed in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment: This position is based in a dynamic manufacturing environment, with exposure to machinery noise, metalworking tools, and other industrial conditions.
