Compact scissors-type band saw for cutting bar, tube, and section up to 220mm round or 400 × 100mm rectangular, with four blade speeds, a worm gear drive, and a 1.5kW blade motor.

The CS-220 is a compact metal cutting band saw for workshops and stockholders. At 90° it cuts up to 220mm round material and 400mm wide by 100mm high in rectangular section. At 45° it cuts up to 130mm.

The main drive combines a worm gear reducer, pulleys, and drive wheels, with the reducer coupled directly to the drive wheel. DDM says this gives stable transmission with no impact. The blade speed is changed by moving the belt on the pulleys, giving four speeds (21, 34, 43, and 60m/min) so the machine can cut different materials. Workpieces are clamped with a hydraulic vise using a single jaw and a screw cylinder structure.

The blade is 27 × 0.9 × 3,045mm, guided by carbide and bearing blade guides, and is cleaned with a wire brush and flood coolant. The blade motor is 1.5kW, the machine weighs 330kg, and it measures 1,600 × 610 × 1,130mm.
