The ERW508 (also referred to as the HG508 on the page) is a high-frequency ERW (electric resistance welded) pipe production line. It makes round pipe from Φ229mm to Φ508mm in diameter, and square and rectangular pipe from 180 × 180mm to 400 × 400mm, with wall thicknesses from 6.0mm to 18.0mm, at production speeds of 15 to 30m/min.

Round pipe is formed with Teneng's "FF" forming technology, and square and rectangular pipe is made by forming round pipe first and reshaping it to square. Welding is solid-state high-frequency welding. Teneng says the welding gives fast speed, high strength, and a good-looking weld seam, and that the line is highly automated, easy to operate, and labour saving.

The line handles steel grades from Q235 and Q345 up to the API line pipe grades X42, X56, X70, and X80. The diameter, wall thickness, and speed can be customised, and the steel frame and imported components are chosen for long service life and low failure rates.
