The JIH-CNC6500H is a 3-axis CNC machining center for long profiles and large components. It uses a travelling column with a fixed table, so the weight of the workpiece never loads the drive system, and machining accuracy stays consistent regardless of what is on the table. The table is 6,500mm long, which allows very long profiles to be machined in one setup.

The machine is built for heavy-duty work. The base is fabricated from heavy-gauge steel plate with reinforcement, and the oversized box-type column is made from high-quality cast iron. It uses 45mm P-class high-precision linear guideways on all three axes, an automatic lubrication system for all guideways and ball screws, and a 24-tool arm-type automatic tool changer.

Unlike the other models in JIH-I's 3-axis range, which are optimised for aluminium only, the H Type is the one that can also process iron. It handles aluminium, steel, cast iron, moulds, and other non-ferrous metals.

On a conventional machine where the table moves, a heavy or very long workpiece loads the drive system and can affect accuracy. With a travelling column and fixed table, the workpiece stays still and the column moves, so consistent accuracy doesn't depend on part weight.
