The KR-LMJG is a gantry-type fiber laser cutting machine built for steel structure fabricators. It is a "composite" machine, meaning it can cut both flat steel plate and structural profiles such as H-beams, I-beams, and channels on the same machine. Perforation cutting handles material from 1mm to 30mm thick, with a 20,000W (20kW) laser and cutting accuracy of 0.05mm.

It can cut, pierce holes, and also letter and mark parts, so cut pieces come off the machine already identified. Bevel cutting up to ±45° allows weld preparation to be cut directly. Kasry says the cutting process handles all sections of an H-beam, and that this approach is entirely different from a traditional cutting line.

The control system was developed in-house. It imports directly from Tekla models, nests parts automatically, and has a simple, intuitive interface. The gantry structure gives stability on large workpieces, and dual-drive motion gives high speed and better precision.
