The V Segment Roll Forming & Cutting Machine makes the V-shaped inner clamp segments used in V-band clamps, ring clamps, G-couplings, flanges, gaskets, and aircraft clamps. These clamps connect pipes and flanges, and the cross-sectional shape, bend diameter, and cut angle of the V segment decide the quality of the finished clamp.

The process runs as one line: the steel coil is uncoiled and levelled under tension, guided into the forming section, roll-formed into the V cross-section, then automatically bent to the required diameter and cut to length. Senbo says this one-pass roll forming approach replaces the punching processes previously used to make these clamps.

It works with stainless steel strip 30 to 120mm wide and less than 3mm thick, with a maximum coil loading weight of 2 tonnes.
