About Nodi A/S

Nodi A/S was founded in 1975 in Naestved, on the Danish island of Zealand, and has worked from its current premises since 1978. It began with small engineering projects, then moved into hydraulic presses, welding units and automation in the early 1980s. In 1986 it built its first flanging machine, which soon became its main product. The company is still family-owned and is now led by the founder’s next generation.

Nodi machines form the round parts used in fans and air handling. They form flanges on duct ends and spin bellmouth shapes such as axial fan casings, inlet cones, shrouds and front plates for centrifugal fans, nozzles, venturis and silencer parts. The machines are fully automatic and are used by fan makers, air conditioning companies and filter manufacturers in Europe, Asia and beyond. By the early 2000s, Nodi machines had produced more than one million parts worldwide.

There are three standard ranges. The Universal Type handles both radial and axial fan parts, with duct diameters from 250 to 4,500 mm and material from 2 to 20 mm thick. The Axial Type is built for axial fans, with diameters from 315 to 5,300 mm, material up to 25 mm, and flange hole punching. The Basic Type is the fastest machine, made for duct flanges and small axial fans from 280 to 2,600 mm and 2 to 8 mm thick. Nodi also designs custom machines, such as double-ended flanging and punching machines for large ducts and machines for diameters beyond the standard range.
