Double Layer Roll Forming Machine France

A Double Layer Roll Forming Machine is a versatile solution for producing two different profiles on a single machine, offering cost-effective and space-saving advantages for manufacturers in the roofing and cladding industries. By integrating two profile layers within one frame, this machine eliminates the need for separate roll formers, providing flexibility for production without compromising efficiency.

Common profiles produced by double-layer machines include trapezoidal sheets, corrugated sheets, and metal tiles. These machines are highly customizable, ensuring compatibility with various material types, thicknesses, and profile designs.

Question and Answer Section

Q1: What are the advantages of a double-layer roll forming machine?

• Double-layer machines save space and reduce costs by enabling the production of two profiles within a single unit. They also provide operational flexibility and reduce the need for multiple machines.

Q2: Can the machine handle different material thicknesses?

• Yes, the machine can handle materials ranging from 0.3 mm to 1.2 mm in thickness, with adjustable settings for different profiles.

Q3: How do I switch between profiles on a double-layer machine?

• Switching between profiles is controlled via the PLC system. The operator selects the desired profile on the touchscreen interface, and the machine automatically adjusts to the corresponding layer.

Q4: What industries commonly use double-layer roll forming machines?

• Industries such as roofing, cladding, construction, and prefab building production widely use double-layer roll forming machines for their efficiency and versatility.

Q5: How much maintenance is required for these machines?

• Regular maintenance includes lubrication of moving parts, inspection of rollers for wear and tear, and ensuring hydraulic and electrical systems are functioning properly. Maintenance frequency depends on usage but is generally recommended every 6-12 months.

Q6: Can this machine be customized for unique profiles?

• Yes, double-layer roll forming machines can be fully customized to accommodate unique profile designs, specific material requirements, and regional standards.

Q7: What safety features are included?

• The machine includes safety guards, emergency stop buttons, and enclosed systems to protect operators from moving parts.

Q8: What is the typical lead time for delivery and installation?

• Lead times vary but are typically 6-10 weeks for production and an additional 1-2 weeks for installation and training on-site.

Q9: How is the machine installed?

• The installation involves positioning the machine, connecting the power supply, calibrating the rollers, and conducting trial production. Most suppliers provide on-site support or remote assistance for installation.
