This new injector head slitting line is available from Galaxie Corporation. It cuts wide steel coil into narrower strips and is built for cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel.

It takes coil up to 2,000 mm (78") wide and strip from 0.3–3.5 mm thick, with a maximum coil weight of 60,000 lb. Maximum line speed is 180 m/min, and the line runs left to right with two injector slitter heads.
