Noise Barrier Roll Forming Machine in Singapore

Noise barrier roll forming machines are specialized equipment designed to produce noise barrier panels or soundproof walls commonly used alongside highways, industrial facilities, and construction sites. These panels help reduce sound transmission, providing a quieter environment in areas close to noise sources. The machine efficiently forms metal sheets into specific profiles required for noise barriers, optimizing durability and acoustic insulation.

Machine Description

A noise barrier roll forming machine consists of multiple stations, each performing incremental forming tasks to create the desired profile. The machine’s robust construction ensures stability during operation, and the high-quality rollers minimize wear and tear, extending the machine’s life. This roll forming machine typically features hydraulic systems for cutting and punching, allowing customized apertures for better sound absorption. Noise barrier panels are made with materials like galvanized steel, aluminum, or sometimes composite materials, ensuring both sound insulation and resistance to harsh environmental conditions.

Profile Description

The noise barrier profiles created by this machine typically have a perforated design that allows sound absorption. Common materials include galvanized steel, aluminum, or composite metals, providing both strength and sound-dampening qualities. Noise barrier profiles are highly resistant to environmental factors, ensuring durability even in harsh outdoor conditions.

Optional Extras

• Automatic Stacker: Automatically stacks finished panels for efficient loading and storage.
• Remote PLC System: Allows operators to monitor and adjust the machine remotely.
• Coil Car Tippers: For smooth material handling during production.
• Leveling Systems: Ensures material flatness before entering the roll forming stations, enhancing profile accuracy.
• Uncoilers and Recoilers: Aid in loading and unloading coils for continuous operation.

Setup and Installation Process

Setting up a noise barrier roll forming machine requires careful positioning and leveling to ensure stable operation. The installation team typically ensures the alignment of all rollers and adjusts the hydraulic and electrical systems. After installation, operators receive training on using the PLC controls, troubleshooting, and maintenance routines.

Maintenance Requirements

Routine maintenance includes checking the hydraulic systems, lubricating moving parts, and inspecting rollers for wear. Scheduled maintenance should include detailed inspections of the punching and cutting units, safety guards, and PLC system. Keeping the machine clean and well-lubricated helps prevent wear and prolongs its lifespan.
