Shunmao's Strip Head Shearer and Butt Welder W200 / W600 cuts the head and tail of a steel strip into clean straight edges and then joins the two ends automatically. This lets coils be connected end to end so a forming or processing line can run continuously.

Sensors monitor the strip edge in real time and a PLC-controlled actuator corrects any drift from the centreline. This keeps the strip ends closely aligned and avoids the welding misalignment that tends to happen with manual joining. It is offered in two sizes: the W200 for narrower, thinner strip and the W600 for wider, heavier strip.
