A supermarket shelving panel is the flat metal shelf that holds products on a retail gondola or wall shelving unit. The front edge of the panel is formed into a lip that holds price tags and product labels. How the Line Works

The coil is loaded onto a 3-ton electric uncoiler and fed into a leveling machine that flattens the strip. A servo feeder then advances the strip precisely into a hydraulic punching station, which punches the mounting holes. The punched strip passes through an 18-stand roll forming mill that shapes the panel profile. Finally, a hydraulic cutter cuts each panel to the programmed length. The operator enters length and quantity on the touch screen, and the line stops automatically when the batch is finished.
