This used Spidem 4-Hi non-reversing aluminium breakdown rolling mill is available from Galaxie Corporation. It reduces aluminium strip from an 11 mm entry thickness to a minimum exit thickness of 0.2 mm.

The mill takes strip up to 1,700 mm wide and runs at up to 450 m/min, or 320 m/min with edge trimming. Maximum mill force is 1,500 tons, and it is fitted with an uncoiler and recoiler, hydraulics, electrics and controls.
