Key Features and Benefits

Robust Industrial Design

The YASKAWA MH24 is built with durability in mind. Its rigid and compact frame ensures excellent performance even in harsh or high-duty-cycle environments. This robot is designed to handle daily operation over extended periods without performance degradation. Whether you are operating in a manufacturing facility, a warehouse, or a distribution center, the MH24’s tough build allows for continuous operation with minimal wear.

Six-Axis Flexibility

Equipped with six degrees of freedom, the MH24 provides superior flexibility in movement and positioning. Each axis offers precise articulation, allowing the robot to reach and manipulate items in tight or complex spaces. This makes it particularly effective in environments where space optimization and efficiency are critical.

The six-axis configuration supports complex trajectories, ensuring the robot can pick, orient, and place objects at varying angles and positions, which is essential in multi-layer palletizing, sorting, and machine-tending applications.

Moderate to High Payload Capacity

The MH24 offers a payload capacity ranging from 10 kg to 25 kg (approximately 22 lbs to 55 lbs), depending on the model and configuration. This capacity range allows the robot to handle a broad variety of materials and components, from lightweight parts to heavier boxes and packages, making it suitable for general manufacturing, packaging, logistics, and warehousing applications.

Precision and Accuracy

One of the most defining characteristics of the YASKAWA MH24 is its repeatability and precision. This robot is engineered for applications where accuracy is critical—such as automated assembly, high-speed picking, kitting, packaging, or sorting. Precision ensures that tasks are completed consistently, reducing error rates and material wastage while improving quality control.

Intuitive Programming and Operation

The MH24 features user-friendly programming interfaces and supports a variety of programming languages and teaching options. This allows operators to configure workflows quickly, even if they have limited prior experience. Whether you're using a teach pendant, a robotic software platform, or offline programming tools, the MH24 integrates easily into new or existing workflows.

This ease of use dramatically reduces setup time, enabling businesses to deploy and redeploy the robot rapidly for different tasks as production needs change.

Advanced Safety Systems

Safety is a top priority in modern industrial environments, and the MH24 is equipped with multiple safety features to protect both personnel and equipment. These include:

• Collision detection sensors
• Emergency stop mechanisms
• Safety-rated monitoring functions
• Protective covers and shields

These built-in safety mechanisms ensure compliance with international standards and help businesses maintain a safe working environment for operators and other equipment.

High Versatility and Compatibility

The MH24 is tool-agnostic, meaning it can be paired with a wide range of End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) to perform various tasks. Whether you need a gripper, suction cup, or custom tool, the MH24 can be configured for it. Its versatility allows the robot to be used in industries as varied as automotive, electronics, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce.

Furthermore, it integrates seamlessly with conveyors, vision systems, barcode readers, and third-party software platforms, giving you a highly customized and optimized automation solution.

Reliability and Maintenance

Known for their reliability, YASKAWA robots are engineered with long-lasting components and are backed by a reputation for low maintenance costs. The MH24 is no exception. Regular maintenance is straightforward, with accessible components and clear service intervals, keeping downtime to a minimum.

For businesses relying on uptime and production continuity, the MH24 offers the reassurance of a system that runs smoothly for years with minimal intervention.

Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory Integration

The MH24 is ready for Industry 4.0. It supports connectivity for remote monitoring, data logging, diagnostics, and predictive maintenance. When paired with the right sensors and platforms, it provides real-time performance data, helping facilities optimize processes, track KPIs, and predict issues before they occur.

This allows businesses to make informed decisions about robot usage, shift planning, and predictive servicing, all of which contribute to increased productivity and reduced costs.
