Schlebach suits roofers, sheet metal contractors and façade specialists working with standing seam metal roofs and cladding in zinc, copper, aluminium and coated steel. It's the right choice for contractors who want German-built machines designed for daily site and workshop use, and who value durability and precision over the lowest price. Its QUADRO system suits workshops producing many different seam profiles, because its quick-change cassettes cut setup time. Full Description
Schlebach Maschinen is a German family business specialising in machines for standing seam metal roofing and cladding. It traces its roots to an earlier Schlebach company in Heilbronn. In 1979, Bartolosch GmbH, founded by engineer Friedhelm Bartolosch, acquired the rights and moved the business to Friedewald in the Westerwald, between Cologne and Frankfurt. It's now led by Patric Meeth and Christoph Gerigk.
Schlebach's history follows the development of standing seam technology. It introduced its first width-adjustable profiling machine in 1981, a round-arch forming machine for curved roofs in 1985, the EHA notching unit in 1989, and in 1997 the QUADRO profiling machine. The QUADRO's swivelling roller stations hold 10 cassettes, so switching between profiles is quick, and its PLC touch-panel control makes setup straightforward.
Today Schlebach covers the full standing seam process. Its slitters cut coil to width, its profiling machines form the panels, its notching and edging machines prepare the ends, its bending machines make trims and details, and its seaming machines close the seams on the roof. Storage systems and accessories complete the range.
Schlebach designs, makes, assembles and sells everything itself. With its sister company Bartolosch, it runs 10,000 m² of production space with more than 100 machining centres, and makes all key parts in-house. The group employs about 240 people and sells worldwide through regional sales partners. It exhibits at EuroBLECH, the main international sheet metal trade fair, in Hannover.
