Packway's C Type Rail Roller Film Wrapping Machine for Steel Coils wraps steel coils automatically in stretch film or anti-rust paper. It replaces manual wrapping, which is slow and gives uneven protection.

The coil sits on rollers and turns slowly while a carriage travels around a hinged C-shaped circular track that passes through the centre hole of the coil. The film or paper is laid evenly over the outer surface and both end faces of the coil, forming a tight protective layer. Some models complete 20–45 coils per hour.
