Shenzhen Packway Technology was founded in 2005 and works at the very end of the metals production line: the point where finished coil, bar, rod or ingot has to be strapped, wrapped, stacked and stored before it ships. Manual strapping of heavy coils is slow and is one of the more dangerous jobs in a mill, and Packway's equipment is designed to take people out of that process.

For steel coil, Packway offers the full sequence. Its strapping machines band coils both radially and through the eye. Its wrapping lines cover coils in film or kraft paper for protection in transit. Its automated AS/RS warehouses then store and retrieve finished coils without manual crane work. For long products, it builds rebar and bar bundling machines and robotic or gantry stackers for bars, rods and angle sections. For aluminium and other non-ferrous producers, it supplies ingot strapping systems using PET strap joined by ultrasonic or friction welding, as well as steel strap systems.

Packway operates as a small group. Its packaging business sits under Shenzhen Superworker Technology, set up in 2011. Shenzhen Dagongren Electric Cylinder Technology, founded in 2014, makes roller screw and ball screw electric cylinders, along with motion platforms used in simulators and testing.
