Packway's Ultrasonic PET Strapping Machine Head DGR-IIIA(C) is a fully automatic strapping head that bands steel coils, profiles and bundles with PET belt. It joins the belt by ultrasonic hot-melt welding, so no metal buckle is needed.

It combines electric drive, pneumatic control and ultrasonic welding. A strapping cycle takes 9.8 seconds, tension is adjustable up to 10,000 N, and the welded joint is stronger than 90% of the belt's own strength. It is intended to be built into coil packing lines and other automated packaging systems, and is for normal-temperature environments.
