EZHONG W11NC Tank Plate Rolling Machine Series – Extra-Wide Rolling for Tanker and Trailer Shells

The EZHONG W11NC series is built for manufacturers of road tankers, trailer tanks and other long, thin-walled shells. The machines roll plate from 5 to 16 mm thick and from 6,000 to 9,500 mm wide, so a full-length tank shell can be formed from a single plate with no circumferential seams. They handle the round, oval and other cross-sections used on trailer tanks. A crowned upper roll, adjustable support rollers and laser-guided deflection compensation keep long plates straight along their full length, while a gravity fast-fill hydraulic design cuts cycle times and energy use.

How It Works

• The upper roll moves vertically under hydraulic power and horizontally through a worm gearbox and screw-nut mechanism
• The lower rolls are driven and provide rolling torque
• Adjustable support rollers sit under the lower rolls to reduce deflection
• The upper roll is crowned (drum-shaped) to improve the straightness of the finished shell
• Suitable for tank shells with a range of cross-sectional shapes

• Laser-guided deflection compensation: Laser displacement sensors on a reference frame measure lower roll and beam deflection in real time. The control system adjusts compensation units between the beam and work roll, keeping the workpiece straight across its full length
• Upper roll anti-vibration system: EZHONG's own design stops long upper rolls from bouncing and vibrating during fast raising and lowering
• Fast, energy-saving hydraulics: The gantry frame carries the load, with an oil tank built into the top of the frame above the cylinders. This stiffens the upper beam and lets the beam and upper roll drop under their own weight to open the fill valve, reaching descent speeds of 3,000 mm/min with lower hydraulic energy use
