Gasparini S.p.A.
Gasparini S.p.A., Mirano, Italy: roll forming lines since 1952 with Twin and Revolver flexible systems for racking, construction, solar and automotive.
Gasparini S.p.A.
Type: Manufacturer of roll forming lines and integrated sheet metal processing systems
Headquarters: Viale Venezia 27, 30035 Mirano (Venice), Italy
Gasparini S.p.A. suits manufacturers that need high-output, highly automated roll forming lines with punching, welding and handling built in, rather than a standalone roll former. It's especially strong in storage and racking, where producers make many sizes of uprights, beams and shelves, and its Twin and Revolver flexible systems change profile size without swapping tooling. Makers of construction products, solar mounting structures, electrical enclosures and automotive parts also use its lines. It's an Italian-engineered option for buyers who want one supplier to design the whole process, from coil to finished, handled part.

Full Description
Gasparini S.p.A. was founded in 1952 by brothers Luigi and Ferdinando Gasparini in Mirano, about 20 km from Venice. More than seven decades later, it describes itself as a world-leading roll forming machine maker, with around 1,500 customers across 35 countries.
The company's history is a record of firsts in flexible roll forming. In 1968 it introduced its Twin system, which can form different profile widths on one line without changing rolls. It added PLC control in 1983 and integrated TIG welding in 1986. In 1995 it launched the Revolver system for fast changeovers, followed by robotic welding and handling in 2002, Industry 4.0 data exchange in 2017, and 3D laser scanning for robotic bin picking in 2021.
Gasparini's lines do more than roll form. They combine punching, welding, clinching, bending and handling into one automated process, so finished parts come off the line ready to use. The range includes conventional dedicated lines, interchangeable cassette lines, the Twin and Revolver flexible systems, and roll bending. Typical products include racking and shelving, mezzanines, lockers, cold storage and silo panels, roofing and cladding, scaffolding, doors, solar mounting structures, electrical enclosures and automotive parts.
Gasparini designs and builds its lines in-house at Mirano, with a team of about 150 people, almost a third of them in design and engineering. It's certified to ISO 9001:2015 and runs a certified health and safety management system. Its site uses a 350 kWh solar installation, which it says cuts CO₂ emissions by about 250 tonnes a year.
FAQ
What is the Gasparini Twin system?
A flexible roll forming system, first introduced in 1968, that produces different profile widths on one line without changing rolls.
What is the Gasparini Revolver system?
A flexible roll forming system, launched in 1995, that switches between roller sets for fast changeovers between profiles.
Can Gasparini lines punch and weld as well as roll form?
Yes. Its lines integrate punching, welding, clinching, bending and handling, so finished parts come off the line.
Does Gasparini make roll forming lines for racking?
Yes. Storage and racking is one of its main sectors, including uprights, beams, shelving, mezzanines and lockers.
Is Gasparini S.p.A. the same company as Gasparini Industries?
No. Gasparini S.p.A. in Mirano makes roll forming lines. Gasparini Industries in Istrana makes press brakes and shears.
How long has Gasparini been making roll forming lines?
