About Q-Fin
Q-Fin B.V. was founded in 2013 in the south of the Netherlands. It designs and builds machines that remove burrs, round edges and give a clean surface finish to sheet metal parts after cutting. Since 2017 it has been based in its own factory in Bergeijk, North Brabant. In 2023 it opened a second building for Q-Fin Handling Solutions, which develops automation for the deburring process.
The main machines are wide-belt finishing machines in several widths. The F-series covers all-round deburring, edge rounding and line finishing, from the compact F250 for small parts to the F1500 wide-belt machine. The SER and M series add non-directional finishing and edge rounding to a radius of 2 mm or more. TwinLine machines and turning units finish both sides of a part in one pass. The DS-Line slag hammers remove slag from thermally cut steel parts.
Q-Fin also makes hand-held and table-top tools for smaller shops. These include the TopGrinder and ProGrinder hand finishing machines (more than 1,000 TopGrinders had been sold by 2024), the TopEdge edge milling machine, and the SkipJoint microjoint remover. For automation, the Qube range loads and unloads finishing machines, handling parts of up to 90 kg, and the Q-Bot cobot cell runs finishing fully automatically. Several Q-Fin machines have won awards at trade fairs, including EuroBLECH.

Who Q-Fin suits best
Q-Fin suits laser cutting and sheet metal workshops whose parts need clean, safe edges before bending, welding, painting or powder coating. A common example is a job shop with a fibre laser that is spending hours deburring parts by hand. Small shops can start with a TopGrinder or SkipJoint. Larger shops can add a wide-belt machine, double-sided finishing and Qube loading so finishing keeps up with the laser. Parts that need edge rounding of R2 or more before coating are a good fit for the SER series.
