Sunfone Technology was founded in 2000 in Yuanlin City, Changhua County, central Taiwan. It designs and builds welded tube mills and related equipment, and its management team has more than 30 years' experience in tube manufacturing. Each mill is designed to the customer's own requirements.
Its tube mills cover high-frequency welding for carbon and stainless steel, and TIG welding for stainless tube where weld quality and appearance matter most. Mills can be built for stainless, carbon steel, titanium alloy, copper and aluminium. The SF-35 stainless mill, for example, produces tube from 6.35 to 25.4 mm OD in 0.4 to 1.5 mm wall.
Sunfone supplies most of the equipment around the mill as well. Upstream, its automatic and mini slitting lines and CNC cut-to-length machines prepare the strip. Downstream, it builds tube polishing machines, end facers, straighteners, ID bead rolling systems, and eddy current and hydrostatic testers to finish and inspect the tube. It also makes tube mill rolls and slitting knives.
Sunfone's tubes are used in automotive, furniture, sanitary and bathroom fittings, chemical equipment, food processing and cleaning equipment.
