About COE Press Equipment
COE Press Equipment was founded in 1976 in Rochester, Michigan, and moved to Sterling Heights, north of Detroit, in 1980. It started with air feeds and coil cradles, then added coil reels and power straighteners. In 1982 it introduced its first servo feed, and in 1999 it acquired assets and product designs from Sesco, Inc. COE was the first servo feed maker to offer a single-point entry interface, and the first to use a non-stretch Kevlar timing belt drive on a servo feed.
COE designs and builds the equipment that feeds coil into stamping presses. Its products include servo feeds, straighteners, coil reels and decoilers, shears and stackers. It also supplies complete lines: conventional press feed lines, compact SpaceMaster lines for tight floor space, cut-to-length lines, straightener-reel combinations and multimode lines. Recent products include the 350 Piloting Feeder Straightener and a compact SpaceMaster cut-to-length option. COE also makes its own controls, the SERVOMASTER, SyncMaster and Mini SERVOMASTER Touch, along with PLC control options.
COE supports its installed base of thousands of machines with technical support, regional service hubs, preventive maintenance, production support, upgrades, operator training and spare parts. An express delivery programme supplies selected products quickly.

Who COE Press Equipment suits best
COE suits North American metal stampers, such as automotive, appliance and electrical part makers, that need reliable coil feeding into their presses, from a single servo feed to a complete reel, straightener and feed line. Plants short on floor space can choose a compact SpaceMaster line. Existing COE owners can upgrade controls or add service contracts.
