About European Technology Center North America
European Technology Center North America, known as ETC, was founded in 2006 in Michigan to bring specialist European forming machinery to North American manufacturers and to support it after the sale. It started with a showroom and service centre in Wixom, moved to Farmington Hills and Ferndale, and now runs from Chelsea, west of Ann Arbor. Over the years it has focused on aftersales service, rebuilds and re-tooling as well as new machine sales.
Since 2010, ETC has been the Haeusler service centre in the USA, handling the distribution and installation of Haeusler machines from Switzerland. These include EVO CNC plate bending rolls and autonomous bending systems, angle rolls, and heavy-duty special forming machines, such as pipe and vessel production lines and welding and assembly equipment. ETC installed the first EVO autonomous bending machine in the US in 2024. It also represents Prinzing sheet metal working machines, such as tube beading and flanging machines, circular shears and rounding machines. It also offers Sanderson CNC tube perforating and louvering machines, used widely in automotive exhaust production, and CMF CNC roll forming and tube welding lines.
ETC supports each machine for its whole life, from concept and prototyping through project management and installation to training, field service and aftersales. It also handles used equipment and offers remote support.
