About Dönem Makina

Dönem Makina is a machine builder in the Arslanbey Organised Industrial Zone at Kartepe, in Kocaeli province, east of Istanbul. It provides engineering and manufacturing for the iron and steel industry, designing and building machines from its own know-how.

Its main product is the continuous PU and PIR sandwich panel line for industrial roof and wall panels. A typical line runs at up to 14 metres per minute, takes metal skins from 0.3 to 0.8 mm thick and up to 1,250 mm wide, and makes panels from 30 to 200 mm thick. The line is about 95 metres long and weighs about 110 tonnes, with full Siemens PLC control.

Dönem Makina also builds trapezoidal sheet lines to the customer’s profile, metal roof tile lines with automatic pneumatic stacking, ridge cap machines, and special profile roll forming systems. For coil processing it builds cut-to-length lines. It also builds aluminium composite panel lines, polyurethane equipment and custom machines on request.
