BoTou Toppo Machinery was founded in 1998 in Botou, Hebei Province, the town at the center of China's roll forming machine industry. More than 25 years on, it runs a 15,000 m² factory making machines for the metal roofing and building products trade.

The range is broad. For roofs and walls, Toppo builds trapezoidal, corrugated, glazed tile, double-layer, cladding panel and standing seam machines, along with ridge cap formers, curving machines and embossers. For building structure, it makes C, Z and U purlin machines, stud and track machines for light steel framing, and floor decking machines. It also covers rolling shutter doors, fencing and highway guardrail, and supplies cut-to-length lines, slitting lines, decoilers and stackers to complete a production line.

Most standard roofing machines are set up for coil widths from 914 to 1,250 mm, the common range for pre-painted roofing coil. Toppo's in-house R&D team also designs custom machines for non-standard profiles.
