Wuxi MAZS Machinery Science & Technology was set up in 2017 in Binhu District, Wuxi, one of China's main centres for metal processing machinery. It develops, manufactures and trades metallurgical equipment, and works through a science park and four production bases.

Coil slitting is at the heart of the range. MAZS builds steel coil slitting lines in three thickness bands, from thin 0.2–2 mm material for appliance and sheet metal work up to heavy 3–12 mm plate. It also makes strip slitting machines for 0.3–5 mm. Its cut-to-length lines come in standard versions at around 40 m/min and high-speed servo versions at up to 100 m/min, for service centres that need higher throughput.

What sets MAZS apart from many slitting line suppliers is how far its range extends along the strip production chain. Upstream, its one- and two-stand continuous cold rolling mills reduce strip to the required thickness. Downstream, its high-frequency welded pipe mills, running at 50 to 100 m/min, turn slit strip into tube. It also makes roll forming machines.
