JDM JingDa Machine (Ningbo) Co., Ltd
JDM Jingda, Ningbo, China: maker of fin press lines, microchannel heat exchanger equipment, tube benders and precision presses for HVAC since 1990.
JDM JingDa Machine (Ningbo) Co., Ltd.
Type: Manufacturer of heat exchanger production equipment, precision presses and tube processing machinery
Location: No. 377 Jinshan Road, Ningbo 315033, Zhejiang Province, China
JDM suits HVAC and refrigeration manufacturers that build their own heat exchangers, whether air conditioning coils, condensers, evaporators or automotive radiators. It's especially relevant for producers moving from traditional fin-and-tube coils to microchannel designs, because JDM supplies equipment for both. Buyers outside China benefit from its overseas subsidiaries for local support. And because it's a publicly listed company, it publishes audited accounts, which gives larger buyers extra confidence when committing to a major capital project.

Full Description
JDM JingDa Machine is one of China's specialist builders of equipment for making heat exchangers. Founded in Ningbo in 1990, it began life as Ningbo JingDa Electromechanical Technology and adopted its current name in 2011. It listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2014 and now employs close to 800 people.
The company's focus is narrow and deep. Rather than building general machinery, JDM makes the specific machines that air conditioning, refrigeration and automotive suppliers need to turn copper, aluminium and fin stock into finished coils. At the front of a traditional coil line, its high-speed fin press lines stamp the aluminium fins. Its benders, expanders and washers then form, join and clean the tube and fin pack.
JDM has also moved with the industry towards microchannel technology. Its microchannel range covers the full process, from the mills that make the flat multi-port tube and the folded fins to the core builders that assemble them. This lets one supplier equip a manufacturer for both older and newer coil designs, which is useful during a changeover.
Alongside heat exchanger equipment, JDM builds precision stamping presses and tube processing machines, including 3D CNC benders and tube end formers. These serve HVAC, refrigeration and automotive manufacturers more widely. Through its subsidiaries in the US, Europe and Asia, it supports customers internationally, and it exhibits at major trade shows such as Chillventa in Germany.
