Shanghai Jinglin Packaging Machinery was founded in 1998 in Shanghai, starting with pallet wrapping machines. In 2006 it moved into coil packing, which is now the core of its business. The company sits in Songjiang District, inside Shanghai's G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, and employs between 100 and 120 people.

Coil wrapping is the specialism. Jinglin's machines pass stretch film through the eye of the coil and around it as the coil rotates, sealing it against moisture, dust and handling damage.
